These restaurants are known for great food, a large selection of sake and
unique sake cocktails.
Hapa Sushi Grill and Sake Bar
Hapa Sushi Grill and Sake Bar is one of the best sushi and
sake bars in Denver. Their menu is
based on traditional Japanese cooking combined with the influences from other
cooking styles.
Along with their fresh fish and chicken teriyaki, they claim
to have the largest sake selection west of the Mississippi River
with $3.50 sake cocktails and $3.00 fruit infused sake.
They have four locations in the Denver
area in LoDo, Cherry Creek, Greenwood
Village and Boulder.

Zengo
Zengo is a wonderful fusion of Latin and Asian cuisine. They
are located at 1610 Little Raven St. near the Highlands
neighborhood in Denver. Their staff
can recommend the perfect combination of sake and sushi.
Zengo offers a great selection of sake and other drinks that
include over 100 tequilas. Chef and owner Richard Sandoval was named Bon
Appetit Restaurateur of the Year and Mexico's
Toque d'Oro.
Zengo has a bottomless brunch on weekends with free flowing
cocktails and unlimited small plates for $35. For reservations, you can call

Parallel Seventeen
Located at 1600 E. 17th Ave
in Denver, Parallel Seventeen is a
Vietnamese restaurant and sake bar that is known for their sake drinks. In
addition to their great Vietnamese cuisine, they are most renowned for their
Sake Cavatini which combines sake and champagne with basil seed caviar, basil
leaves, cucumber water and simple syrup. Parallel Seventeen also serves many
specialty drinks like their French 17 which is gin, jasmine sake, green
chartreuse and lemon champagne.
They have a bottomless brunch daily. You can call Parallel

TAG Restaurant
TAG is another great restaurant and sake bar that is located
at 1441 Larimer Street in Denver.
Chef Troy Guard prepares a mix of Hawaiian and Asian cuisine using fresh and
local vegetables along with a fine selection of sake. A few of their sake selections
include,
- Zipang sparkling sake is a bright sake with a slight tropical fruit taste.
- Hakushika Chokara, a smooth sake with the taste of banana, peach and cherry custard.
- Momokawa Pearl is a rich and creamy sake with the flavors of coconut, anise, banana and sweet rice.
- Ichishima Silk Deluxe Junmai sake is described as silk in a bottle with the light tastes of honeydew melon and cucumber.
