Medieval times are a fascinating part of history with castles, knights in shining armor and kings and queens and these castles are reminders of how life was in the medieval times. Medieval times started in about the year 800 or 9th century following the collapse of the Roman Empire in Europe and lasted until about the 16th century. If you take a vacation to France, you have to visit a few of these medieval castles.
